When Elliot writes about his experience with the Jock Rots and sends it out over the KidNet, he includes the following quote in his letter.
"I think people ought to realize that stuff like this goes on every day…The rest of you are all part of it-because you let it go on and maybe you think it's funny, or you think it only happens to geeky outsiders and kids who are smaller or fatter or skinnier or don't have so many friends or so much money as you. So tell me-what happens when you don't have so many friends one day, or you don't have so much money, or something bad happens to you?" (91-92)
Blog Question:
What is the message is he trying to get across to his classmates?
Answer: I think Elliot was trying to tell everyone that everyone should be aware of bullying. He's saying that bullying could even happen to YOU. Also, not all the people who gets bullied are the 'weird'. Some of them are the 'normal'. Bullying isn't something to laugh at or promote. It's something to know to fix and prevent. Mainly, Elliot is talking to the bystanders in this letter. He's trying to tell the bystanders that they are the most powerful ones, they have duties to stop bullying. Actually, bystanders take about 85% of all the children. But I know that some bystanders are scared that they might get bullied. Elliot's telling those bystander to have courage and stop bullying or at least know about it.

Blog Question: After the Bully Lab was renamed, the Revealers, and the stories of the three Darkland students were released and well received by the student body, Elliot wanted to publish Russell’s narrative about Richie punching Russell in the face.
1) Why was Russell so opposed to the idea (pg. 110)? Explain. (4 pts)
Russel was so opposed to the idea of posting about Richie in the revealers because he was started to get a weird feeling about him. Somehow he felt Richie's not bulling anymore. Like a feeling of, 'I'm starting to like him'. I think he felt that way after Richie 'helped' Russel while Burke and Blanchette were threatening him. (In book at pg.96~97 Also, it doesn't say in the book but I think Russel is a bit scared of Richie. (Even though it doesn't sound like it.
2) What is happening to the relationship between Russell and Richie. (3 pts)
To me, it first looked like their situation was getting better. Then, after reading a little more, I figured out that Russel was just merely playing with Russel and he fell for it. Richie was just trying out a new bully tactic against Russel. For a short amount of time he wanted Russel to relax then suddenly he changes scaring Russel. I thought this way because I saw a similar bullying style before. Also, if they were slowly being friends again, why would Richie be revolting again in pg.142~143.

I am...
My name is Marcello Kim. I'm Korean who likes to... I don't know what I like. I live in Bangladesh. I have nothing special about me except for that I have been called to the principal's office several times.(And once got suspended.) People say I'm crazy, and I agree but I don't know why. I know I go crazy sometimes but I don't know why? I feel like its automatic. That's about it for some things about me.
